Step-by-Step: Your Journey

1. Enroll and Get Started

Complete a short application. Once accepted, you’ll receive immediate access to your program’s competency modules and resources. There’s no waiting for a semester to begin.

2. Work Through the Competencies

Each program is built around a clear set of competencies organized into modules. You’ll study practical content, review examples, and complete activities designed to build real workplace skills. Most segments are designed to be completed in short, focused sessions.

3. Demonstrate Your Mastery

Mastery isn’t declared, it’s demonstrated. In this competency-based model, you advance by proving you can perform at each level of professional practice, much like climbing a staircase of increasing responsibility.

At the foundational steps, Objective Assessments confirm you have solid command of the core concepts and knowledge required for your field.

As you move higher, Performance Assessments place you in realistic workplace scenarios where you must apply that knowledge. You’ll face situational challenges that test judgment, prioritization, ethical decision-making, and strategic thinking under real-world constraints; the same kinds of situations you’ll encounter in your career.

4. Receive Feedback and Guidance

Our team reviews your submissions and provides constructive feedback and guidance specific for your program.

5. Complete Your Program

Once you’ve successfully demonstrated all required competencies (and any electives you’ve chosen), you’ll be approved for your credential.

6. Receive Your Credential & Begin Payments

Upon approval, you’ll receive your diploma, certified title, digital badge for LinkedIn, and lifetime access to your transcript through our credential registry. This is when your Graduate-First payment plan begins. You pay nothing until you’ve successfully completed the program. If you do not complete the program or are not approved for your credential, you owe nothing for tuition.

7. Continue Growing

Your credential is designed to be a meaningful milestone in your career. It is intended to help you demonstrate practical expertise to current or prospective employers.
